Profile Description
Dr. Rizwana Mallick is a clinician and academician with over 20 years of experience in the field of maxillo-facial rehabilitation. She has completed her BDS and MDS in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge Dentistry from Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha (a Deemed University) and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Prosthodontics from the same University.
She is a Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, A Central University.
She has authored over 30 publications in reputed National and International journals and has also been a keynote speaker in various National and International conferences. She also has two Indian copyrights to her credit in the field of rehabilitation of patients with cleft defect.
She is known amongst her peers and patients for her meticulous treatment planning, eye for perfection, and esthetic rehabilitation and is currently working in field of dental implant-based rehabilitation of congenital cleft patients, an area which stands unexplored not only in India but also lacks scientific evidence at an international level. She remains committed to furthering science and research on patients with special care needs and to evolving practical, cost effective solutions and treatment protocols that are based on scientific evidence.
