Profile Description
Dr. Srinivas Namineni is a dental professional working with the Department of Paediatric Dentistry, Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Telangana, India. He has been the Professor and Head of Department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Children’s Hospital, Vikarabad, Telangana, from 2006 till 2016, with teaching experience spanning over 20 years, and also has hospital-based experience with Paediatric dental practice & special needs dentistry, at Prestigious Rainbow as Head of Clinical Paediatric dentistry, since 1999.
Dr. Namineni is one of the past President of the notable Indian Society of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD), and one of the first members of International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD), representing India. He is a member of the Education committee of International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD), and Managing Committee member of the Indian Organisation of Rare Diseases (IORD). Dr. Namineni has over 30 publications to his credit and 3 contributions to textbook chapters. He is acclaimed as pioneer in propagating and training Nitrous Oxide Oxygen Inhalation Sedation in India, and has trained over 2500 dentists nationally & internationally. Dr. Namineni has also formulated the guidelines for the Dental Council of India (DCI) and the Indian Society of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD). He is a firm believer in service to humankind, & is an ardent, voluntary blood donor, due for his 68th time – primarily for Thalassaemic children. Dr. Namineni completed his Bachelors in Dental Surgery in 1989, and Masters in Dental Sciences in 1994 from Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, Davangere, Karnataka, India.
