Profile Description
Dr.P.C Jacob graduated with a BDS from the College of Dental Surgery, Manipal in 1988, followed by an MDS from the Faculty of Dentistry, Annamalai University in 1994. He did his Residency in Maxillofacial Prosthetics, at UCLA School of Dentistry in 1997. In 1996, he became the first Indian to be awarded the Audrey Meyer Mars international fellowship by the American Cancer Society. He was an active academician from 1995-2020. He has maintained a private practice since 1998, focusing on maxillofacial prosthodontics, dental implants, and full mouth rehabilitation. In addition, he is a Consultant at Mazumdar Shaw Medical Centre and Aster Hospital, Bangalore, India.
He was an Executive council member of the Indian Prosthodontic Society for 2 terms and is presently the President, of the Bengaluru branch and a certified speaker for the international team of Implantology. He has published extensively in various national and international journals, in addition to being a popular invited speaker at various national and international conferences. He is presently the Course Director of the Maxillofacial Prosthodontics Fellowship conducted by Smile USA. Lastly, he is the Country Representative of the European Prosthodontic Association
