Dr. Nay Aung
Profile Description
Dr. Nay Aung graduated from University of Dental Medicine Yangon in 2005. He was the only student clinician to represent Myanmar in IADR/ SEAADE student clinician program in 2004 to present a research paper on “ Clinico-pathological study of oral squamous cell carcinoma- 100 cases ”. He did the post graduate diploma in general dental practice from same university in 2013. He has founded a private dental training center since he graduate named “DNA dentistry” and has been training dental students as well as dentists since 2006 till now. He has been working as a diplomate faculty in Academy of Fixed Orthodontics in Myanmar. He is also appointed as a MiCD advocator ( Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry ) in Myanmar from 2018. He has conducted many worshops and training concerning Laser Dentistry, MiCD and Orthodontics for local dentists. In 2019, he has presented “MTA or Biodentine – a dilemma ” in 2nd SAAPD congress held in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has been awarded a prestigious “Honorary Member of Myanmar Dental Association” in 2020.
