Profile Description

Dr H Esther Nalini graduated from the Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and Hospital and pursued her postgraduation in Periodontics and Implantology from the Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital, Chennai. She has a passion for teaching and is the professor and head of the department of Periodontics at the KSR Institute of Dental Science and Research, Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu with 17years of experience. She has around 40 publications in her specialization. She is a consultant Periodontist in Erode. Her areas of interest include Oral Health Education and Preventive Periodontics. She strives to instil the importance of preventive care and non-surgical Periodontal therapy among her students. She’s currently pursuing her Master’s in Counselling Psychology and Doctoral Studies in oral Health education for Special Health Care Needs Population at the Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. She looks forward to using her expertise in preventive periodontics to bring to the fore, the pivotal role of preventive care in improving oral health and modes of adaptive and accommodative oral health education to enhance oral hygiene maintenance in individuals with special health care needs.
