Dr. Arlette Setiawan
Profile Description
Dr. Arlette Setiawan is Pediatric Dentist with clinical and research training from Indonesia. Clinical interest includes management of the dental fear patient and complex medically compromised patients. Special research interest in evidence-based dentistry, behavioral dentistry, and special care dentistry. After completing a Ph.D. degree with research dissertation topics in childhood oral cancer, biomolecular studies, and natural products, she took her second master degree in developmental psychology which brought her interest in psychological studies in dentistry. In the following year, she was earned her consultant certification in dental treatment for special needs children from Indonesia Pediatric Dentistry Collegiate.
After 15 years of experiences being a lecture in pediatric dentistry, in 2018 she was promoted as the youngest professor (adjunct professor) in the field of pediatric dentistry in Indonesia.
