Dr. Vinaya Kundapura

Profile Description

Dr Vinaya Kundapur completed Bachelor in Dentistry (BDS) from Yenepoya Dental College, under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, India (2001-2006) & Master’s in Prosthodontics (MDS) from AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Science, under Nitte University, India (2009-2012). Worked as faculty in dental college and gained experience in teaching and enrolled in various academic research activities at MR Ambedkar Dental College & Hospital, Bangalore, India (2013-2019). She moved to the United States in 2019 & completed a one-year graduate certificate Fellowship program in Geriatrics and special needs at the University of Iowa, College of dentistry. She is currently seeking PhD in Translational Science at UT Health San Antonio, Texas & also working as a program dentist for the HOPE Project (Holistic Oral health Program for the Elderly), UT Health San Antonio, School of Dentistry, USA. She has presented various lectures in India and USA with long-term goals to educate others and spur interest in Geriatric and Special Needs Dentistry.
